Joseph Tiff, a 21-month-old baby boy, was born with symbrachydactyl, a condition in which his left arm did not completely develop. Nevertheless, Joseph’s parents wish to inform the public that he is not disabled or restricted, but rather differently abled. In order to increase awareness of limb differences and provide support for the Lucky Fin Project, a community that facilitates connections among individuals with comparable conditions, they established an Instagram account.
Joseph’s narrative gathered momentum when a photograph of him with Carson Picket, a defender for the Orlando Pride football team, went viral. Joseph’s mother disclosed that they encountered Carson at an Orlando Pride home game, and the two formed an instantaneous connection. Carson consistently spent time with Joseph after the game, engaging in playful activities such as embracing, giggling, and acting as if they were long-lost friends.
